Academy Next Step — The global gateway to higher education

Every year hundreds of thousands of international students prepare for university entrance exams like SAT and YÖS (Yabancı Öğrenci Sınavı). Yet the market is fragmented — local tutoring centres can't scale, generic e-learning platforms don't understand the Turkish higher-education ecosystem, and students from MENA, Central Asia and Africa lack a trusted, end-to-end digital pathway.

A single platform where students prepare, practise, get guided, pay securely, and step into the universities of their dreams. Live lesson management with Zoom/Meet integration. Watermark-protected digital study materials. Native exam engine for SAT, YÖS, general math and category-based assessments. Pre- and post-exam career & university guidance. PayTR payments and Bizim Hesap accounting integration. Full TR + EN i18n, JWT-secured role separation across Admin / Teacher / Student.

05Why this wins

Five reasons, ordered.

Pick the one that matters most. The rest are corroborating evidence.

  1. Niche dominance, not generic competition.
We don't compete with Coursera or Udemy. We own a specific, high-intent, underserved corridor: international students → Turkish universities. High lifetime value. Word-of-mouth growth. Sticky cohorts.
  2. Already built, already deployed.
Production-grade backend (FastAPI + PostgreSQL), modern frontend (Next.js 14 + TypeScript + Tailwind), automated CI/CD, live payment processing, accounting automation, email verification, contact systems, analytics. Not a deck. A platform.
  3. Multi-revenue-stream model.
Live lesson tuition (recurring) · digital material sales (high-margin, infinitely scalable) · exam packages (SAT, YÖS, custom) · guidance & consultancy upsells · future B2B licensing to other academies.
  4. Enterprise-grade architecture.
FastAPI · SQLAlchemy · PostgreSQL · Redis · Celery · JWT · bcrypt · S3-compatible storage · automated CI/CD. The same shape companies that scale to millions of users would pick today.
  5. Brand & design maturity.
A defined brand system (Academy Yellow #FFD500, premium typography), mobile-first responsive UI, and a look that feels like a global brand — not a homemade tool.
Academy Next Step isn't an idea. It's a working, deployed, revenue-ready platform — sitting at the intersection of EdTech's biggest growth area and one of the world's most underserved corridors.
